Job Description
The Design Engineer / Draughtsman role aims to enhance project efficiency and quality of design deliverables by producing high-quality designs for fabrication, installation, and client approval, while supporting the development and maintenance of drawing libraries and standard parts.
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Relevant qualification in Drafting, Mechanical Engineering, or Design
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Inventor (mandatory)
- Minimum of 3 years' work experience in a fabrication, piping, or structural design environment
- Valid drivers license (Code 08)
- Excellent attention to detail and technical accuracy
- Ability to prioritize / manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
