Associate Technical Designer, Innerwear

At Jockey, we are seeking an Associate Technical Designer to join our Design team to work on innerwear collections from concept to production. The position will be responsible for building products, collaborating with internal and external partners, and ensuring fit and quality excellence.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of applied experience in patternmaking, grading and construction
• Bachelor’s degree in technical design or related field required
• Previous design and/or product development experience a plus
• Basic knowledge of garment construction and fabrics
• Excellent organizational, follow-through, multi-tasking and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize own work schedule and communicate roadblocks
• Exposure to technical design software and tools
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of patternmaking and grading principles is a plus
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to garment fit and sizing
• Exposure to analyzing and solving problems related to fit and construction
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and timelines
• Ability to take initiative and demonstrate a proactive attitude
