John Deere Horicon Works - Product Engineering Specialist

Join John Deere's Horicon Works as a Product Engineering Specialist and contribute to the development, production, testing, and evaluation of prototype equipment. The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems and experience with troubleshooting, repairing, and rebuilding motorized vehicles or equipment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC)
• At least 3 years of manufacturing work experience
• 3 or more years of mechanical / electrical technician experience (or equivalent military experience and training)
• Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and rebuilding motorized vehicles or equipment
• Experience with hydraulic and/or pneumatic system troubleshooting
• Experience with electrical and mechanical blueprints and schematics
• Experience with welding and metal fabrication
• Ability to perform manual tasks for duration of work shift
• Ability and willingness to work potential overtime (including weekends)
