John Deere Ottumwa Works - Industrial Electrician

As an Industrial Electrician (Electrical Machine Maintenance) employee with John Deere in Ottumwa, IA, you will lay out, install, modify, and maintain complex electrical circuits and electronic equipment. You will diagnose and remedy electrical problems while focusing on safety, quality, and teamwork.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC)
• At least 3 years of manufacturing work experience
• Electrical journeyperson’s card or at least 8 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience (or equivalent Military experience and training).
• Thorough knowledge of both national and local electrical safety codes.
• Ability to perform manual tasks related to described job duties for duration of work shift; including but not limited to frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
• Ability and willingness to work any shift and potential overtime (including weekends).
