Job Description
The role of Project Engineer at John Holland involves overseeing engineering activities, managing project timelines, and providing technical support to ensure safety, quality, and environmental compliance. This position is critical to the successful delivery of the Beveridge to Albury corridor project, which is part of the Inland Rail program. The Project Engineer will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the seamless integration of civil structures and systems into the overall project plan, and will be responsible for managing the construction of civil infrastructure, supervising contractors, and ensuring project completion is timely, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Significant experience in civil infrastructure projects
- Comprehensive technical knowledge of civil engineering principles, standards, and compliance obligations
- Outstanding project management and leadership abilities
