Job Description
John Holland is recruiting a talented and driven Mechanical Site Engineer to deliver the Kidston Pumped Storage Hydro Project in Far North Queensland. The project involves converting a disused gold mine into a pumped storage hydroelectric power generation facility.
Requirements
- Degree qualified Mechanical Engineer (or similar; Mechatronics etc)
- At least 1-2 years post graduation experience, ideally working with a tier one contractor
- Understanding of contemporary practices in construction methodology on energy / infrastructure projects
- Confident communicator
- Passion for teamwork and delivering on tight deadlines
- Excellent time management and prioritisation
- Understanding of HSEQ management systems, compliance and reporting procedures
