Controls Service Technician

Johnson Controls is seeking a Controls Service Technician to conduct preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning of systems, including troubleshooting and mentoring of control technicians. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of commercial controls troubleshooting experience in the HVAC industry and a vocational school program graduate or associate's degree in a technical field.

Requirements

• Minimum of Six (6) years Commercial Controls troubleshooting experience in the HVAC industry.
• Vocational School program graduate or associate's degree in a technical field, or two years’ experience in servicing electronic and or mechanical systems.
• Effective communication skills to represent Johnson Controls on customer sites.
• Ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people.
• Demonstrated ability to install and/or service electronic control systems and HVAC equipment.
• Knowledge of control theory, automatic temperature controls, building automation systems and other building subsystems.
• Effective writing skills as well as understanding of programs and software applications.
