Electrical Engineer

As a part of Johnson Controls' Data Center Solutions business unit, we are on the forefront in the creation of new and exciting products to support the data center industry. Our custom computer room air handling units (CRAHU) are industry leading examples of some of the most highly energy efficient and sophisticated cooling systems in the world. We are a diverse, upbeat, creative, team-oriented group of technicians, engineers and managers working on a daily basis to develop data center cooling equipment that is changing the face of the data center facility.

Requirements

• APEGA Registered P.Eng. in good standing
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
• Related experience in Industrial Power Distribution and Controls panels design and electrical planning
• Proficient in using AutoCAD Electrical and EPLAN Electric P8 for design documentation
• Comprehensive understanding of safety, electrical, and building codes
• Ability to prepare scopes of work and construction work packages
• Competent in quality control activities
• Strong communication skills for technical concept explanation and monthly reporting
• Computer literacy including solid Microsoft Office experience
• Commitment to continuous technical learning and personal development
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to travel to field worksite locations including domestic and occasional international travel
