Job Description
Johnson Controls is seeking a Sr. Procurement Manager to lead a team of 6 buyers and drive growth and profitability for their Chillers Product Business Unit. The ideal candidate will have a growth mindset, strategic sourcing experience, and excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or equivalent
- Minimum 6-10 years of experience in a multinational organization
- Minimum 6 years of experience in a Strategic Sourcing role, preferably with Direct Materials
- Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams within a matrix environment
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a high degree of emotional intelligence
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle ambiguity and complex situations
- Working knowledge of SAP or other equivalent ERP systems
- Experience negotiating complex supply contracts
- Ability to travel 10% globally and domestically
