Job Description
Johnson Controls is looking for a Staff Power Electronics Engineer to play a lead role in shaping next-generation power electronics and variable speed drive (VSD) control solutions. This is a highly visible position that requires hands-on work throughout the product lifecycle, including designing, testing, and sustaining electronic PCB assemblies and components.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- 10+ years of professional experience with power electronics, variable speed drives
- Strong understanding of system modeling and simulation, as well as controller design, using MATLAB/SIMULINK
- Strong understanding of power electronics and motor control
- Experience with Auto-code generation using MATLAB/SIMULINK
- Familiarity with circuit design and layout tools such as Altium
