Thermal Systems Engineer

Johnson Controls is seeking a Thermal Data Center Systems Engineer for an entry-level position within the Data Center Thermal Solutions Engineering team. The successful candidate will provide foundational experience in thermal system design, analysis, and testing for data center cooling applications.

Requirements

• Assist with prototype development, testing, and validation of thermal components and subsystems
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to thermal calculations and documentation
• Learn and apply thermal modeling tools, CFD software, and test equipment under guidance
• Develop understanding of the complete thermal chain from chip-level cooling to ambient heat rejection
• Support cross-functional teams including controls, electrical, and mechanical engineering
