Line Cleaning Inspection Trainee

Johnson County Wastewater (JCW) is seeking a Line Cleaning Inspection Trainee to join their team. The position involves completing routine tasks in the completion of wastewater collection system cleaning and inspection. The trainee will work on an assigned crew, assisting with labor tasks, operating light-duty equipment, and following safety protocols. The position is temporary with a maximum duration of three months, and the trainee must pass a written exam and obtain a Class B CDL with air brake and tanker endorsement within six months to continue employment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Regular driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Pass a written exam within four months
• Obtain a Class B CDL with air brake and tanker endorsement within six months
