Outdoor Summer Camp Assistant Counselor - Outdoor Camp Locations

Requirements

• Ensures the safety of the children in the program at all times (including on field trips and at the pool)
• Responsible for direct interaction with the children in games, activities, and free play
• Ensures that both JCPRD and KDHE guidelines are followed
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized program
• Effectively communicate with parents, children, supervisors, and co-workers
• Must Exhibit Initiative by demonstrating leadership without being prompted
• Display professionalism always
• Provide excellent customer service
• Attend all required in-service trainings and meetings
• Enjoys the outdoors
• Additional duties as assigned by the Program Director or Assistant Program Director
