442A Electrician - Continental Night

Join Our Team as an Electrician at Johnson Electric! As our next Electrician, you’ll be at the forefront of installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, testing, and repairing industrial electrical and electronic equipment and control systems.

Requirements

• Secondary School Graduation Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Certificate of Qualification as an Electrician (442A and/or 309A) in good standing.
• Completion of a recognized Electrician Apprenticeship.
• 1 to 5 years of post-qualification industrial electrical maintenance experience.
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing electrical and control systems in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience with PLC-based and automated equipment is required.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, controls, PLCs, automation, and motor control systems.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and control drawings.
• Working knowledge of CMMS/EAM systems and Microsoft Office applications is an asset.
• Solid understanding of electrical safety practices and applicable codes and regulations.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Effective communication and mentoring skills.
