Job Description
Join Our Team as an Automation Systems Lead Designer at Johnson Electric! As our next Automation Systems Lead Designer, you will play a key role in analyzing, conceptualizing, and designing innovative production automation solutions. Work on a wide range of projectsâfrom material handling systems to fully automated inspection cells and complete assembly linesâtransforming engineering concepts into practical, highâperformance automation solutions.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in specialâpurpose equipment and/or automation system design
- Strong proficiency with SolidWorks
- Experience with robotic cells and assembly automation is an asset
- Knowledge of machine shop practices and manufacturing techniques
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High integrity, accountability, and resultsâdriven mindset
