Job Description
Join Our Team as a Lead Controls Specialist-Automation at Johnson Electric! Lead a team of Controls Specialists, providing support, guidance, and direction. Maintain equipment documentation systems and ensure adherence to industry standards.
Requirements
- Technical degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or similar
- 5+ yrs experience in an automation/controls environment
- Hands on technical skills with respect to Electrical Systems, Hydraulic Systems, Pneumatic Systems
- Expert level in PLC programming (Omron NJ/Allen Bradley) and Robot programming (Fanuc/Yaskawa/Kuka)
- Knowledge of Labview based systems and ability to program them is asset
- Understanding of the SQL database and related software
- Excellent communications, negotiating, conflict management, and problem-solving skills
