Job Description
Join Johnson Matthey and contribute to the company's mission to accelerate the transition to net-zero. As a Mechanical Technician, you will install, maintain, and repair mechanical components and plant equipment, conduct equipment testing and commissioning, and perform preventive maintenance. Key skills include recognized mechanical engineering apprenticeship, skilled in mechanical maintenance, and proficient with tools and SAP.
Requirements
- Recognised Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship with a minimum Level 2 qualification in mechanical, fabrication, or maintenance
- Skilled in mechanical maintenance, fabrication, installation, repairs, and interpreting technical drawings in industrial environments
- Proficient with tools, workshop equipment, hydraulics/pneumatics, MS Office, and SAP; strong understanding of safety regulations
- Self-motivated team player with strong communication, attention to detail, manual handling capability (up to 25kg), and a safety-first mindset
