Job Description
Join Johnson Matthey as a Mechanical Technician to help accelerate the transition to net-zero. Install, maintain, and repair mechanical components and plant equipment, and conduct equipment testing, commissioning, and fault diagnosis.
Requirements
- Recognised Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship with a minimum Level 2 qualification in mechanical, fabrication, or maintenance.
- Skilled in mechanical maintenance, fabrication, installation, repairs, and interpreting technical drawings in industrial environments.
- Proficient with tools, workshop equipment, hydraulics/pneumatics, MS Office, and SAP
- Strong understanding of safety regulations
- Self-motivated team player with strong communication, attention to detail, manual handling capability (up to 25kg), and a safety-first mindset
