Mechanical Technician

As a Mechanical Technician at Johnson Matthey, you will contribute to the company's mission to accelerate the transition to net-zero by installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical components and plant equipment. You will work on manufacturing systems, perform preventive maintenance, and comply with safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Recognised Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship with a minimum Level 2 qualification in mechanical, fabrication, or maintenance.
• Skilled in mechanical maintenance, fabrication, installation, repairs, and interpreting technical drawings in industrial environments.
• Proficient with tools, workshop equipment, hydraulics/pneumatics, MS Office, and SAP; strong understanding of safety regulations.
• Self-motivated team player with strong communication, attention to detail, manual handling capability (up to 25kg), and a safety-first mindset.
