Staff Mobile Engineer

Joko is a tech company and certified B Corp with over 90 talents across Paris, Barcelona, and New York (and beyond). We're building an AI-powered shopping assistant to help users find the best products by price, quality, and impact. As our Staff Mobile Engineer, you will own meaningful parts of our mobile application in production, from technical design to delivery and continuous improvement, while collaborating closely with the wider engineering team.

Requirements

• Strong experience in mobile development, with a clear expertise in React Native (typically 5+ years)
• Strong understanding of mobile architectures and performance tradeoffs, with experience building reliable, data-driven applications in production
• Strong sensitivity to user experience, performance metrics, and real-world usage at scale
• Comfortable working in complex, evolving codebases, with the patience and pragmatism to improve them incrementally
• Experience with mobile CI/CD, release processes, testing, and platform-specific constraints (iOS & Android)
• Able to work effectively within a broader engineering team, and collaborate closely with Product Managers and Product Designers to turn product ideas into high-quality mobile experiences
