Adjunct Instructor, Nursing

Teach introductory and advanced classes in nursing practicum, participate in course development, assessment, and planning activities, and demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching and learning. The position is part-time and requires teaching during non-traditional times, including evenings and weekends. The adjunct instructor will also participate in departmental meetings and meetings with the department chair.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution
• Current Illinois Licensure as R.N.
• Recent work experience in nursing
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with other members of the college and community
