The Healthcare Pathway Peer Tutor, Internship-4 position is a part-time internship opportunity that involves tutoring students in nursing and pharmacology subject areas, maintaining records, and assisting with receptionist duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completed one semester of college-level courses with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
• Enrolled at JJC in at least 6 credit hours
• Received an A or B in the subject area to be tutored
• Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
• CASH Manager approval
• One faculty reference
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with students/faculty
• Ability to work with minimum supervision and maintain confidentiality in accordance with FERPA guidelines
• Patience, problem-solving abilities, and a willingness to accept responsibility
