Job Description
Lead the design and planning phases of underground tunnel construction projects, ensuring safety, budget, and specifications are met. Direct the construction process, select suitable excavation techniques, and monitor ongoing construction to maintain safety and compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, or Mechanical preferred)
- Mandatory SMSTS certification
- Preferred IOSH Managing Safely in Construction
- Valid CSCS Card
- At least 3 years' experience in underground environments, particularly with Earth Pressure Balance Tunnel Boring Machines
- Documented experience as a Person in Charge (PIC) in significant projects
