Our Rail Division operates Australia’s iconic rail journeys, seeking a Mechanical Fitter to conduct mechanical tasks, perform inspections, and identify and rectify faults in rail carriages.

Requirements

• Conduct mechanical tasks, including overhauls, installations, and fitting of mechanical equipment.
• Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and unscheduled repairs based on trade knowledge and training.
• Troubleshoot and fault find for routine vehicle issues.
• Identify and rectify faults in rail carriages, encompassing carriage air brakes, bogies, undercarriage, inter-carriage equipment, and the EVAC toilet system.
