Job Description
System Performance Engineer AB position at Joyson Safety Systems. Job summary: Build and validate restraint component models, correlate to test results and optimize component performance, and conduct biomechanical data analysis. Responsibilities include creating status presentations, participating in project meetings, and technical project management of an occupant restraint system.
Requirements
- BS or higher degree in Engineering, Numerical Math or comparable subject
- Experience with the Global Safety Regulations and consumers ratings
- Background in Biomechanics and Accident Reconstruction
- Sound knowledge regarding all or some of the explicit FE solvers LS-DYNA & PamCrash
- Experience with the operating systems in use (Windows / Unix / Linux OS)
- Experience with the relevant pre and post processing tools (e.g. Hyperworks, Animator, Visual Environment, Primer..)
- Knowledge in the field of occupant safety and / or vehicle crash including the relevant legislative and consumer test requirements for passive and active safety systems
- PC knowledge (MS-Office)
- (Self-)motivation and team player
