A Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading a project construction team and the overall management of project direction, planning, completion and financial outcome. The position requires business management acumen and must demonstrate strong leadership, organizational and time management skills, as well as having strong communication and team building skills.
Requirements
- Implement and execute the JRM BLDGS Operational playbook across assigned projects/staff
- Implement and execute the JRM Safety Program across assigned projects
- Manage and/or coordinate personnel and resources for the project
- Lead pre-construction efforts including developing project schedules, site logistics plans, pricing studies, design team working sessions, value engineering exercises, early works, etc.
- Manage all aspects of project from inception through completion
- Plan and execute project procurement, including creating bid packages, writing and coordinating scopes of work (and reviewing subordinate work products), managing the bid process, procurement schedule, leading descope meetings, preparing award recommendations, and negotiating subcontract awards with the Project Director and client.
- Prepare and execute company development and construction plan
- Oversee and direct the shop drawing, submittal, RFI, MEPS coordination, Document Control and overall construction coordination process
- Maintain relationships with designers, consultants, vendors and subcontractors
- Attend and lead project meetings, including staff/team, OAC, problem solving/working sessions, etc.
