We are seeking an experienced Navy veteran with deep knowledge of the Aegis Weapon System to serve as a Senior C&L Systems Author. The ideal candidate brings at least 8 years of directly applicable Navy experience in ratings such as FC, OS, or IT, with substantial expertise in Aegis operational employment, tactical documentation, and cross-system integration.
Requirements
- Author Combat Systems Capabilities & Limitations projects for U.S. Navy and FMS Aegis configurations
- Review technical and tactical source documents to determine accuracy, relevancy, and suitability for inclusion in C&L products
- Collaborate with engineering and program teams to define, plan, and execute timelines for C&L project development
- Support the development and refinement of processes, policies, workflows, and schedules used to deliver C&L documentation to the fleet
- Apply a moderate to high level of knowledge of the Aegis Weapon System during content development
- Serve as a subject-matter expert specifically for the Command & Decision (C&D) element
- Prepare, update, and review required technical deliverables, including C&L documents, revisions to government documents, ECP-related materials, and technical data package review reports per CDRL requirements
