Job Description
The Welder Fabricator is responsible for fabricating and assembling metal parts and structures by applying various welding techniques and fabrication skills, often following blueprints and specifications.
Requirements
- Reading and interpreting blueprints to determine the best fabrication methods.
- Choosing appropriate materials and preparing them for fabrication.
- Cutting, shaping, and welding metal pieces according to specifications.
- Inspecting welds and finished products for accuracy and adherence to standards.
- Operating hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
- Troubleshooting issues and identifying areas for process improvement.
