Job Description
At JTI, we are looking for an Accounting & Reporting Specialist - Mandarin to join our Accounting & Finance team in GBS Manila. As a member of our team, you will analyze and prepare monthly accounting entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and quarterly/annual reports based on JTI IFRS principles and SLAs, collaborate with markets for statutory audits and financial statements, and review and provide feedback on work prepared by team specialists.
Requirements
- University degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or similar qualification is a plus
- Minimum 1 year of experience in finance/accounting or external auditing
- Financial reporting experience is a plus
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin (oral, reading, writing)
- Strong knowledge of general accounting principles
- Solid background in financial reporting
- Working knowledge of IFRS, Tax, and SOX compliance
- Familiarity with SAP and Microsoft applications is a plus
- Experience in system and shared service migration is a plus
- Experience in training junior team members is a plus
