Corporate Affairs & Communications Manager

At JTI, we celebrate differences, and everyone truly belongs. We are looking for a Corporate Affairs & Communications Manager to join our team in Yangon, Myanmar. As the CA&C Manager, you will anticipate changes in the company's Operating Environment, develop strategies to minimize commercial risk and secure competitive advantage, and engage with functional counterparts to develop JTI views and positions on public issues.

Requirements

• University graduate or above, preferably with a major in Legal, Politics, or a related field
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Corporate Affairs within a market; legal training is an added advantage
• Multi-year experience in a similar role within a large international company or a reputable local firm is highly desirable
• Demonstrated commercial experience with measurable achievements that positively impacted the business
• Proven ability to anticipate changes in the operating environment and implement strategies and programs to shape those changes
• Experience in commercial affairs, corporate affairs, or both
• Strong proficiency in Government Relations and Media Relations, with solid communication skills considered a valuable asset
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong influence and leadership capabilities, teamwork orientation, and exposure to one or more developed markets in Asia is highly desirable
• Previous experience in the tobacco industry is an advantage, along with an understanding of regulatory, trade, and tax environments and broader industry dynamics
