Job Description
Jubilee Housing is seeking a Community Outreach Coordinator to support their multidisciplinary approach to supporting returning citizens. The role requires recruiting new residents, traveling to correctional facilities, and representing the organization at community outreach events. The position is responsible for providing information about the program vision, goals, eligibility criteria, and coordinating intake interviews. The Coordinator will also be responsible for data entry, attending multi-disciplinary team meetings, and providing linkages and referrals to permanent housing organizations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, Human Services, or related field
- Demonstrated cultural competence working with men and women returning from incarceration
- Lived experience in the prison-reentry system welcomed
- Experience and competency with trauma informed care
