College Faculty, Music Theory and Analysis

The Juilliard School is accepting applications for full-time faculty in the Department of Music Theory and Analysis to begin in Fall 2026.

Requirements

• Teach one or more undergraduate core courses and electives in both the undergraduate and graduate studies curricula
• Participate in department meetings, placement assessments, teaching assistant and fellow recruitment and placement, and departmental and school-wide committees
• Minimum Qualifications: Doctorate (Ph.D. or D.M.A.) in music theory or in a closely-related field with substantive training in music theory and analysis. Degree must be in hand by time of appointment
