Begindergarten Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant *2026-27 School Year*

Julie Billiart Schools is a network of schools serving children grades K-8 with special learning challenges. We are Catholic, non-public schools that respect diverse faith traditions. As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will assist in supplementing, enhancing, and extending occupational therapy services to students with autism, ADD/ADHD, dyslexia, and social learning challenges.

Requirements

• Current licensure to practice Occupational Therapy within the state of Ohio (Required)
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant License (Preferred)
• Ohio Department of Education Certification (Preferred)
• Experience working as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in a school or educational setting is preferred
• Strong assessment and intervention planning skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
• Passion for working with children and helping them overcome developmental, educational, and motor challenges
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on the latest research and techniques in occupational therapy
• Maintain a high level of organization for file maintenance and record-keeping
