Beyond Camp Counselor - Summer 2026, Westlake Campus

The Beyond Camp Counselor is responsible for organizing and leading small group activities and implementing social, behavioral, and academic interventions for up to 9 students with learning challenges. The position requires experience working with children in group settings and an ability to differentiate education.

Requirements

• Minimum of high school diploma
• Volunteer or paid experience working with children in group setting
• Experience working with students with learning challenges preferred
• Experience working in a camp setting preferred
• Skilled in differentiating education
• Excellent skills in both verbal and written communication
• Ability to work both independently or within a team
• Proficient communicating with parents and colleagues
• Flexible thinker able to make adjustments in the moment
• Enthusiastic, driven, and independent
