Job Description
JUMO is a smart financial services platform focused on making finance accessible to everyone. The Senior Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable data architectures, monitor performance, perform root cause analysis, and work with large, complex datasets. The role involves collaboration with stakeholders and mentorship within a team.
Requirements
- 5 - 8 years of experience in a similar role
- BSc or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Real-world understanding of data pipeline design and development
- Experience with streaming technologies, specifically Spark and Kafka
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS preferred)
- Strong command of productionising and monitoring of data pipeline workflows
- Experience with application design and development with Python (preferred), Scala, Java, or RDBMS
