Senior Engineering Manager, Devices - United States

Senior Engineering Manager for Devices at JumpCloud, responsible for managing and guiding multiple global engineering teams, setting technical standards, and partnering with Product and Design leadership to define strategic vision.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in engineering leadership
• Experience leading and building software engineering teams developing on top of public clouds, like AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Demonstrated track record of developing leadership talent (mentoring Senior engineers into Lead, Staff or Manager roles)
• Proven ability to lead and empower high-level Individual Contributors (Staff+)
• Experience implementing AI-assisted engineering workflows (e.g., Copilot, automated code reviews, AI-generated unit tests)
• Track record of leading and driving team and/or organizational projects/initiatives to successful, on-time completion and/or delivery
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and techniques
• Ability to work and communicate effectively with other engineering managers, and both technical and non-technical business stakeholders
