Job Description
June Shelton School is seeking an Upper School Chemistry Teacher to serve as an Advisor, Chemistry Teacher, and guide for students at the respective grade level and subject area. The teacher will provide an effective learning environment, plan lessons and materials, and utilize educational technology to support students with learning differences.
Requirements
- 3+ years experience as an Upper School Chemistry Teacher desired
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related area; Master’s degree desired
- 12 credit hours in Chemistry if degree is in a related area
- Desire and positive enthusiasm to work with Upper School Students
- Experience working with students with learning differences
- Proficiency in educational technology
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and Administration
