Job Description
The Domestic Abuse Safety Officer will provide bespoke support to clients who meet the DASO Service eligibility criteria, advocating client safety and managing their risk of harm. The role holder will work within regional Interventions Teams and take a trauma-informed approach, contributing to risk assessment and client safety planning.
Requirements
- Develop strong professional relationships with clients to support and empower them to navigate formal and legal processes
- Assess the safety of home visiting using available information on the person on probation
- Identify and assess the safety risks and needs of the client in order to promote their safety, well-being and social inclusion
