Journeyman Pipefitter

JVD Installations Inc. is seeking Journeyperson Pipefitters for our maintenance team in Norman Wells, NWT. Responsibilities include pipe fabrication and installation, demolition, and rigging tasks, as well as working in a safe and efficient manner.

Requirements

• Read and interpret COP Job Scope Work Sheet and P&ID.
• Work with other trades to complete job scopes.
• Demonstrates knowledge of piping demolition.
• Assembles and installs piping sections according to blueprints and job specifications.
• Performs physically demanding tasks such as cutting openings for pipe while standing for extended periods of time and securing pipe in hard-to-reach areas.
• Perform bolt-up and Bolt Torquing.
• Perform rigging tasks, including identifying appropriate lift points.
• Pipeline pigging for cleaning and purging purposes.
• U/G Bunker entry for the removal of pipeline risers and wellhead piping.
• May perform other related duties as assigned.
