Job Description
We are looking for a Google Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Google Cloud Platform services and cloud infrastructure management. Responsibilities include designing and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions, managing and optimizing GCP services, and working with development teams to architect scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience with Google Cloud Platform services and cloud infrastructure management
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker containerization, and orchestration at scale
- Experience managing and scaling Kafka clusters, Elasticsearch deployments, and MongoDB instances in production environments
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Deployment Manager) and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (New relic, Logging, APM solutions)
- Knowledge of networking, security best practices, and cost optimization in cloud environments
- Experience working within cross-functional teams, collaborating with Product Managers, developers, and DevOps engineers
- BS/Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
