Senior Platform Engineer - Infrastructure (USA)

Kalepa is a company that is upending the commercial insurance industry with its AI Copilot platform. We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer - Infrastructure to join our team in New York, NY or remotely in the US. The successful candidate will work on the infrastructure and tooling that power our core platform, improving performance and reliability, monitoring and optimizing system cost, and collaborating with engineering teams to standardize environments and deployment patterns.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering or dev-ops experience
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, security, performance and infrastructure
• Strong fundamentals in system design, debugging, and problem-solving
• Knowledge of Python, serverless technologies, asynchronous workflows, and cloud environments
• Experience with relational databases, terraform, and IaaC best practices
• Comfortable with debugging and problem-solving
