Tech Lead Manager - Client Integrations (Europe)

Kalepa is an AI Underwriting Platform that's changing the commercial insurance industry. We're looking for a Tech Lead Manager to lead a team of engineers building core functionalities. The role involves designing and building API endpoints, improving database performance, and integrating with third-party services.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant software engineering experience
• 2+ years of full-time engineering people management experience
• Past success hiring talented engineers at different levels
• Experience managing complex projects that touch multiple teams and cross-functional partners
• Strong fundamentals in system design, debugging, and problem-solving
• Knowledge of Python and experience with serverless technologies, asynchronous workflows, and cloud environments
• Experience with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL
