Job Description
Perform calibrations and troubleshoot all plant instrumentation and systems. Troubleshoot and repair plant instrumentation and PLC (instrument circuits). Obtain ordering data for parts and research through the web, manuals, vendor calls, or other methods for troubleshooting and repairs.
Requirements
- ISA Certified Control System Technician (CSST) Level I or Completion of a Certified Instrumentation Apprenticeship or equivalent
- Experience with calibration and calibration best practices
- Instrumentation experience, including but not limited to, transmitters, switches, indicators, gauges, PH, guided wave radar, sonar, and PLC interfacing
- Well versed in instrumentation test equipment
- Experience in and the understanding of troubleshooting best practices for manufacturing systems and equipment
