Kamehameha Schools, Hawaii Campus is looking for a Temporary Security Officer to provide security services for students, faculty, staff, visitors, and facilities. The ideal candidate will have prior security experience, a valid drivers license, and be able to work various shifts day or night.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/Equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of related work experience
- Valid Hawaii Driver's license and current driving abstract
- Current DCCA Guard Employee License or ability to obtain certification within 60 days from date of hire
- Current standard First Aid, CPR and AED certification or ability to obtain certification within 6 months from date of hire
- Ability to work independently and flexibility to accommodate a rotational schedule, including 24/7 availability
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills, allowing effective interaction with KS staff, students, parents, and the public
- Proficient in computer applications for word processing, spreadsheets, and email, and able to learn, operate, and monitor CCTV systems for recording and review purposes
- Competence in typing and computer use for detailed incident reporting
