Job Description
The Summer Instructor position at Kamehameha Schools Maui Campus is a temporary seasonal position that involves designing, planning, and facilitating learning experiences for students. The instructor will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing classroom environment, collaborating with colleagues, and assessing student progress. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Elementary or Secondary Education, Math, Science, College Counseling, or a closely related field
- Minimum 1 year experience in a directly related field
- Experience with culturally relevant, age-appropriate educational strategies
- Knowledge of Hawaiian culture-based methodologies, 'aina-based learning, and age-appropriate educational strategies
