Job Description
Karbon is seeking a Quality Engineering Manager to lead the transformation of its quality engineering strategy, focusing on developer-led quality culture, test automation, and AI-assisted development. The ideal candidate has significant experience in quality engineering or software engineering, people leadership, and technical expertise in test automation and AI-assisted development.
Requirements
- Significant professional experience in quality engineering or software engineering
- Proven people leadership experience managing and growing teams of 5+ quality engineers or SDETs
- Deep expertise in test automation strategy and implementation across multiple layers
- Experience driving the transition from QA-as-gatekeeper to developer-owned quality models
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for AI-assisted development and quality engineering
- Experience defining quality metrics and dashboards that drive engineering decision-making
