Requirements
- Contribute to the iteration of Katalyst's spacecraft power system design
- Support operation of power system hardware during qualification testing
- Help own integrated functional testing of power systems hardware with other spacecraft subsystems
- Plan and execute targeted stress and performance testing
- Help define and plan design changes for feature or architecture improvement of the spacecraft power system
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or equivalent field
- 3+ years of experience designing, testing, or integrating spacecraft power electronics or closely related high-reliability power systems
- Prior experience designing or modifying schematics and PCB layouts for power electronics
- Hands-on experience with hardware bring-up, bench testing, and debugging
- Exposure to thermal vacuum, vibration, or environmental testing
- Experience executing test procedures and documenting results
- Experience troubleshooting board- or component-level power issues
- Experience integrating power electronics with other subsystems
