Job Description
The Paralegal provides legal and administrative support to the company's Legal department and the Vice President and General Counsel. This includes reviewing contracts, preparing contracts and arranging for execution, and providing support in litigation. The Paralegal will also assist in managing outside Counsel, providing primary support of in-house and outside counsel, and conducting legal research and analyzing findings.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a law firm, or as assistant to in-house counsel, preparing documents and researching legal issues
- Proven skills in full MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access)
- Experience performing research and preparing documents and other written communication
- Proficiency with legal terminology
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Well organized
- Ability to multitask, and track and achieve oft-changing tasks, initiatives, and priorities
- Ability to coordinate among numerous stakeholders
