Job Description
KBR is seeking a Defense Design Analyst to perform engineering and analytical tasks in support of Air and Missile Defense systems. The role involves simulation, real-world data analysis, and system performance assessment to inform strategic decisions for U.S. and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Warfighters.
Requirements
- Perform engineering and analytical work in support of Air and Missile Defense systems
- Define objectives, criteria, and procedures for test plans related to future software builds
- Execute system-level tests and analyze resulting data to assess performance of tactical deployments
- Deliver formal test findings and performance assessments to appropriate stakeholders
- Use tools such as Microsoft Excel, Python, or MATLAB to analyze missile defense system behavior in digital and hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) environments
- Formulate and recommend solutions to technical, operational, or integration challenges
- Contribute to system optimization through special studies or investigations
- Lead or coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, providing technical guidance or mentorship as needed
