Job Description
Join KBR's National Security Solutions team as a Junior Software Engineer and contribute to high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions for the intelligence and national security communities. Work on designing and optimizing defense systems that ensure national security and shape the future of space defense.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
- BS degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
- 1-3 years of software development experience
- Strong understanding of the software development life cycle
- Familiarity with Python, Java, or Go
- Familiarity with web applications with microservices architecture
- Familiarity with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and others
- Proficient in using GitLab or other Tools for version control, CI/CD pipelines, and collaboration
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong passion for conducting research, tackling complex problems, and continuously learning and adopting new technologies
- Organization capability with ability to handle competing priorities
- Strong interpersonal skills, communication (oral and written), and presentation skills
