Job Description
KBR is seeking a Junior Software QA Engineer to join their National Security Solutions team. The successful candidate will analyze and test software prototypes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and maintain automated testing suites. This is a full-time position based in El Segundo, California, with minimal travel requirements.
Requirements
- Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance is required
- BS degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
- 1-3 years of software development experience
- Solid understanding of test development and test execution
- Working knowledge of performance testing, security testing, and usability testing
- Practical experience in one or more of the following: Python, Java, or Go
- Working knowledge of automated testing tools like Selenium or Cypress
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong passion for conducting research, tackling complex problems, and continuously learning and adopting new technologies
- Organization capability with ability to handle competing priorities
- Strong interpersonal skills, communication (oral and written), and presentation skills
